Jillian earned her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, where she dedicated her studies to Labor and Employment law. Since graduating, Jillian has exclusively practiced Labor and Employment Law with an emphasis on Union Side Labor Law and Employment Discrimination. Today, Jillian advises clients on issue related to collective bargaining, workplace discrimination, non-payment of wages and contract grievances.
Prior to joining Duddy, Goodwin and Pollard, Jillian gained extensive experience at a boutique labor firm where she represented public sector unions. Jillian was responsible for negotiating settlement agreements, resolving grievances, conducting grievance arbitrations. She routinely advised her clients on compliance with leave policies such as the Family Medical Leave Act and workplace harassment, discrimination, and retaliation laws. Jillian also participated in state administrative hearings and dismissal arbitrations, which resulted in
numerous public-school teachers being returned to their positions.
Jillian is known for her diligence, organization, and attention to detail. She is adept in using her investigative, research, and writing skills to devise unique case theories and legal strategies to resolve matters for her clients.
